EM Austin Signature Events Series
In February we'll invite all EM Austin Members to a complimentary private screening of
The Glow Project, a groundbreaking, stirring film showcasing inspiring stories of women who have triumphed against all odds. You'll want to bring a hanky- this film will grab you! We hope you'll join us for this special screening, wine, appetizers, networking, and meaningful discussion. Donations will also be welcomed to benefit Dress for Success, which empowers women in getting back on their feet following huge life challenges. Social Media 101 for Entrepreneurial Moms- Demystifying Facebook, Twitter, TwitterMoms, MySpace, Telesummitting, Blogging, and more!
This timely and very popular topic will be offered as a "mini" series. Local experts will walk you through the nuts and bolts of leveraging your business opportunities in the online universe.

Currently we're working with successful Austin businesses to offer partnered events, leveraging our strengths with other service providers. 2010 will bring several partnered events, which lend priority to EM Austin Members. If you would like to inquire about endeavoring into a partnered event
Diva's Den™
This innovative, hallmark initiative created by Entrepreneurial Moms Int'l. is a real-time pitchfest of pre-qualified Entrepreneurial Mom-run business ventures for funding, mentorship, and other sponsored business-boosting opportunities. A select few Entrepreneurial Moms pitch their concept to a panel of respected local experts and investors to vie for their financial backing, promotional support, or mentorship to elevate their business to the next level. The event is structured similarly to an EM Signature Networking Event with wine and appetizers; instead of featuring a speaker we become the audience of this exciting pitchfest amongst our Entrepreneurial Mom peers. The outcomes of Diva's Den are binding, with Entrepreneurial Moms engaging in actual business contracts with the experts, investors, and mentors offering their resources.

Appreciation: Early Holiday Perk for Founding Members!
In deepest appreciation to our Founding Members for the energy they've brought to our young chapter, Entrepreneurial Moms of Austin is extending your memberships by a full year! If you became an EM Austin Member by September 30, 2009 you are a Founding Memberand your membership won't expire until May 31, 2011! We have a plethora of fabulous events and opportunities in the works for 2010 aimed at elevating your business success, accelerating your personal growth, and connecting you with the amazing energies of fellow Entrepreneurial Moms in Austin and internationally. As we grow locally and globally, the opportunities we bring you will continue to grow exponentially with us for many years to come! EM Austin aims to cultivate mutual support and appreciation and is very glad to offer Founding Members a full year extension, and semi-annual Member Appreciation events such as the Glow Project screening in February.
Member Benefits Package
We are continuing to augment our basic EM Austin Member Benefits Package and in December will announce a new rollout of benefits and perks, which will be retroactively applied to all EM Members. As we fill out the package we also grow nearer to our goal of small business incubation upon joining us! EM Austin aims to fully support Entrepreneurial Moms and provide immediate access to the best services and products in our local and global communities. EM Austin leadership has first priority in offering their businesses' services or products in the benefits package- yet another fantastic reason to lead!
EMI Members Interactive Online Portal
After much hard work by dedicated EMI Members globally we are thrilled to be sending invitations to EMI Members to join us in a private online portal for Entrepreneurial Moms Members. There you can create your online profile, choose friends from any EMI chapter, and initiate dialog with talented women across our rapidly growing network! Look for this invitation to join us there as an included Member benefit this week!
EMI Home Site Online Profiles & Member BIllboard
Along with your invitation to join us on the new interactive Member portal, we'll also send you a link to notify us of any amendments that should be made to your existing public profile on our EM Austin home page. We will maintain our online EM public profiles to optimize exposure for your business. At this time you may also submit items for the Member Billboard, a promotional vehicle for your business needs, events, and incentives.
Feedback
We also very much need your feedback in order to craft all aspects of our events, from topics to dates, from times of day to venues, and everything in between. This is after all, your chapter! We aim to serve your needs, and to better do that we're puttin together a survey in which we'd greatly appreciate your participation. The results will be invaluable for us in planning but more importantly for you, the Members we exist to support. If you have feedback that won't wait, please contact us with your ideas!
Leadership
Are you a natural leader? Would the opportunity to get in on the ground level of something great interest you or benefit your professional skill set? EM Austin is in an exciting transition and seeks smart, savvy Entrepreneurial Moms with an innate enthusiasm for connecting and encouraging success amongst their peers. Chapter leaders receive the first opportunities to be included as providers on our Member Benefits Package, first dibs on special perks afforded to us by our partners and affiliates, and magnified recognition and promotion of their business in their high-profile roles in our chapter.
