Hello fantastic Entrepreneurial Moms of Ottawa! Since our amazing chapter launch on January 20th we continued to be inspired daily by the dozens of phenomenal women we're lucky enough to call our EM Ottawa Members. As we're in a huge growth phase we hope you'll continue to check back frequently for new site updates, news of new events, and the posting of our Member Profiles which are currently being revamped to facilitate connections amongst Members.

Between March 1st and December 31st, 2010 every new friend you refer to EM Ottawa that becomes a member during that period will earn you a ballot and a chance to win. The member with the most ballots will be the contest winner and will win a free Annual Basic Membership upgrade to a brand new Annual Gold Membership (a $199 value), which is a new Membership tier soon to be published. Why We Exist
Entrepreneurial Moms of Ottawa recognizes that an Entrepreneurial Mom is a multi-faceted, dynamic woman whose priorities are many and whose time is precious.We acknowledge that an entrepreneurial mom's business success is intricately dependent upon a few fundamental aspects of her life being functional, healthy, and, ideally, thriving.We discovered on our journey of connecting and supporting Entrepreneurial Moms that the fantastic women we honour so much actually place as much value on other facets of their lives as they do on their entrepreneurial success.What makes Entrepreneurial Moms unique, it seems, is a statistically significant sentiment that while business is important it isn't everything, and it alone does not complete us.

We have discovered from feedback in our flagship chapter in Calgary, that there are four basic elements of an Entrepreneurial Mom's overall success in life. Based on that we have created events to address and support those needs: business (Build Your Business Series), spirit (Nurture Your Spirit Series), body (Love Your Body Series), and family (Focus on Family Series). We're proud to offer these quality events in our ongoing commitment to The Complete Entrepreneurial Mom.

Women make up the largest group of entrepreneurs in Canada. As we expand and develop our Ottawa chapter we will be offering you the types of events where you can learn from fellow female entrepreneurs, experience the newest tools and resources available, and network with like minded women who support and encourage you to reach as far as you can. Our goal is to offer you fun and energetic events that stimulate you to take your business places you never dreamed before. Girl power all the way!

We are excited to offer our Founding EM Ottawa Members a variety of benefits with your membership. During 2010 we will be dramatically expanding these benefits, so stay tuned throughout the exciting rollout!
